This can be fixed by Pomeroy Computing for our flat $69 parts and labor rate repair.  This includes the tear down and reassembly and a new dc plug soldered on.  The N5110 uses a 9 pin port that is soldered to a separate I/O board or  CRT board (Part # 10808-1, 48.4IF05.001, DQ15DN15).  This separate board plugs directly into the motherboard.  This is a nice design because if the dc jack gets so damaged the I/O board is damaged you won’t need to replace the main board.
